Why Choose Ceramic Fiber Insulation?

Ceramic fiber offers several performance advantages:

  • Lightweight and flexible

  • Low thermal conductivity

  • High-temperature resistance

  • Excellent thermal shock stability

Whether you need bulk material or precision-formed products, Advance Industries delivers quality insulation solutions tailored to your application.

Our Ceramic Fiber Insulation Products

  1. Ceramic Fiber Blanket

Also known as a refractory blanket, this flexible, lightweight insulation is easy to install and widely used in furnace linings, pipe insulation, and duct systems.
    Temperature ratings: 1050°C, 1260°C, 1430°C

  2. Ceramic Fiber Board

Rigid and durable, ceramic fiber boards are made from spun fiber wool and provide excellent thermal stability and strength. Ideal for fireproof enclosures and high-temperature wall linings.
Grades available: 1260°C and 1430°C (Zirconia)

  3. Ceramic Fiber Module

Preformed modules designed for fast installation in industrial furnaces. Supplied with metal anchors, these blocks minimize installation time and improve lining performance.
    Density: 190–220 kg/m³
    Service temperature: up to 1430°C

  4. Ceramic Fiber Bulk (Wool)

Loose wool insulation used for vacuum forming, packing, and custom-molded insulation. Available in spun, blown, and chopped fiber forms.
    Temperature range: 1260°C to 1430°C

Tips for Ceramic Fiber Module Installation

To ensure maximum efficiency and a long operational life of your insulation system, follow these best practices for installing ceramic fiber modules:

Anchor Placement

  • Accurately weld anchor studs on the furnace shell with minimal deviation.

  • Use proper welding methods: manual or torch-based, depending on the anchor design.

Install Backing Blanket First

  • Always begin with the ceramic fiber backing blanket to enhance insulation depth and performance.

Installation Sequence

  • Start with the furnace roof, then move to the walls.

  • For wall linings, install modules from bottom to top for correct compression and alignment.

Proper Arrangement & Joint Sealing

  • Install modules side-by-side in a consistent direction.

  • Insert compensation blankets between rows to eliminate air gaps and improve sealing.

  • Use lining blankets at corners—between roof and wall, or wall-to-wall joints—to ensure continuous insulation.

Secure Anchoring

  • After aligning the module’s center hole with the pre-welded stud, fix it with a nut or expansion clip.
  • Choose anchor types and welding methods based on the structure and thermal load.
